The CIBC Theatre is located in the Loop area of downtown Chicago, and currently seats 1,800 people. The theater originally opened in 1906 as the Majestic Theatre, and presented vaudeville acts in its early years. Currently, the theater is operated by Broadway in Chicago, part of the Nederlander Organization, and has for many years presented pre-Broadway and Broadway shows.
